Do you have some questions regarding the web hosting services
offered here at DealHostUSA? Here are some answers to the most
frequent questions we often receive from our online guests.

PRE-SALES
Are there any
setup fees or hidden fees?
We will not surprise you with any setup fees or any other fees,
unless otherwise specified. Our free account setup is one of the
characteristics that separates us from our competitors. All we ask
is the price stated on the hosting plan of your choice. We do not
ask for an extra fee to setup your account. Please note that your
domain name purchase is a separate thing. We only offer hosting
plans, but you'll have to buy a domain name from a domain registrar.
Aren't your
prices so low? Is there a catch?
There is NO CATCH whatsoever. We will NOT insert any advertisement
or banner on your web pages. Our prices are low simply because we
want to make our services affordable for everyone. So how can we
make money then? We rely on word of mouth referrals from our
satisfied clients. In addition, we do not pay extravagant fees for
advertising our services. That means we can pass on the savings to
our customers
How long does
it take until my new account is setup?
During regular business hours, new account setup will take anywhere
from 1 to 24 hours from the time we receive your order. Once your
account is set-up, you will be emailed your Account Login
information (User ID, Password & FTP hostname) to help you get
started.
Is the price
going to increase next year or in the future?
If you have already signed up for a hosting account, then your price
will not increase for that account. It is locked, and it will be
your fee for as long as you maintain that account with us. If you
don't have a hosting account with us yet, we suggest you to sign up
now to lock-in yourself at our current rates. Otherwise, you will
have to pay whatever price we will set in the future. If we decide
to increase our current rates, then you lose!
Note: If we decrease our rates, you will still pay the "locked"
rate. We will not give you credit or refund for the difference.
Usually, the rates increase, not decrease.
Is there a
time contract or commitment involved?
You are free to cancel whenever you want. Why should people force
you to settle for something you don't want? We are not here to do
that. If you are not satisfied with our services, you can cancel
your hosting account. Please note that we only give refunds during
the first 15 days of your trial period.
What types of
sites do you host? Is my website allowed?
These sites are prohibited from our servers: spam, mass mailing
lists, safelists, adult-oriented websites (pornographic, bikini
websites, non-nude teen websites, sex-related merchandising, and any
with the likes thereof), casino, gambling, hacker, illegal content,
scams, warez, hate, illegal copyrighted files (may include audio or
video files). Please ask us if you are not sure. Violation will
result in the immediate termination of your account without refund
of the applicable fees. *A complete account usage policy is found

Will my
hosting account support Microsoft Frontpage?
Frontpage Server extensions (for using frontpage to manage your
site) are included with all our web hosting plans. You can even turn
on Frontpage extensions via your hosting control panel.
BILLING
I am not
satisfied. Can I get a refund?
We have a 15-day money-back guarantee. You can try out our hosting
solutions for 15 days after your account setup. This should be ample
time for you to decide whether you are satisfied with the hosting
services we provide. If you are not satisfied, just cancel your
account and we will refund the fees and credit them to your Paypal™
account or credit card, whichever method you used to pay. Any
cancellation requests after 15 days will be denied refund of the
associated fees. No exceptions! Please act responsibly.
I do not host
with you anymore. Why was I still billed/charged??
Actually, it's your fault. You received a charge from us because you
have NOT formally cancelled your account with us. You must let us
know about your CANCELLATION, either by logging on to your Paypal
account and cancelling the subscription OR emailing us about your
decision. Otherwise we have no way of telling!
What methods
of payment do you accept??
We accept CREDIT CARD (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover,
etc.) and CHECK payments via our secure gateways, 2CHECKOUT and
PAYPAL. Just enter your credit card or check details on the order
page, as requested. Both payment gateways are secure, and your
information is safe. You do not have to be a member of Paypal to
send payment.
TECHNICAL
I have
contacted support, but not heard back. What's wrong??
If you have sent us a support request during the weekend, it may
take longer to answer your concerns, and we may not be able to
respond until our regular business hours. DealHostUSA has dedicated
the weekends for family time. Sorry, but the family should be a
priority...
If you have submitted a support request during regular business
hours but still have not received any response, please be patient.
We have received your request (unless the server is down) and
support personnel will respond as soon as they can. Please note that
support personnel may also be busy fixing server issues or
performing updates to optimize the server for service. Sometimes,
they may be overloaded with support requests and are busy taking
care of each one. Please be patient.
I just
purchased a hosting account but when I type my URL in the web
browser, my website does not appear. What's wrong?
If you have just updated the necessary name servers with your domain
registrar, please allow up to 48 hours for the DNS changes to
resolve. If you have not already done so, please update your domain
to point to our servers. DNS is essential to ensure that your domain
is pointing to our servers. Otherwise, you will not be able to view
your site online.
Is my site
backed up and how often?
It is the client's responsibility to do all back ups of their site.
If, in the unfortunate event, something happens to your files, it is
your responsibility to have a local copy of your files. We are NOT
held liable in any way for any files, money, time, effort, etc...
lost due to this unfortunate event. Furthermore, if your files are
lost, we will attempt to restore them as a gesture of good faith,
but make no promises what so ever about whether the files will be
brought back successfully or not. Again, back ups are the client's
responsibility.
How do I
access my emails using my online browser?
To read or send emails from any location with an internet access,
just enter the following URL into your internet browser:
www.yourdomain.com/webmail/
(**yourdomain = the name of your hosted domain)
I can't send
emails from my account. What's the problem?
A number of ISPs (AOL, Earthlink, Comcast, and others) have recently
been blocking or redirecting TCP port 25 from within their network.
In these instances, when you try to send mail via your hosting
account, your connections to mail..com are either being blocked, or
redirected to your ISP's mail server. The practice of blocking
outbound port 25 is an attempt by ISPs to keep spammers from signing
up for their ISP service, and then using their access to send out
spam emails via open third party mail relays. In these cases, the
only other solution is to send mails using your ISP's outgoing SMTP
server settings, instead of mail.yourdomain.com
Is there any
way to filter out SPAM??
SpamAssassin is included in each hosting account. This email feature
can be turned on by logging on to your control panel (cPanel)
